Think of it as golf with a shotgun. Shooters advance through stations on a course, each presenting different targets that simulate species of game—teal, dove, quail, pheasant, or bouncing rabbits. Just like golf, each sporting clays course is different and provides a fresh challenge.

5-Stand, Skeet, and Wobble Trap
Besides sporting clays, you can enjoy other popular types of target shooting at Claythorne. Our fields are available for practice or competition—including your own tournaments.

Features five stations and six to eight strategically placed traps. The shooter is presented with 5 targets at each station, first a single bird followed by two pairs.
Wobble Trap

Our Beomat wobble trap provides an opportunity to warm up before hunting or sporting clays. It’s also a good place to learn gun safety and proper shooting techniques.

A standard round includes 25 targets, but you can purchase additional targets at $0.26 a piece.
